AN-NOOR CENTER

ISOGS consists of more than 30 ethnicities and serves as a place where diversity is embraced. We are a religious, charitable, and civic organization committed to providing Islamic services to our Muslim community and humanitarian outreach for our non-Muslim neighbors. Over the past few years, we have outgrown the current Masjid as our community has grown exponentially. In 2013, we purchased six acres of land to construct our An-Noor Community Center to accommodate our growing community.

The objectives of this project are to:

  • Have a full-time Islamic school
  • Hold Interfaith events
  • Have a fully functional community center
  • Have an after school program for children and teenagers
  • Have a spacious place to hold Eid prayers
  • Hold Iftars and Taraweh prayers

An-Noor will serve the growing community as the hub for our Islamic education & events:

  • Schools and After School Programs
  • Youth sports activities
  • Halaqa and lectures
  • Da’wah events
  • Ramadan Taraweeh prayers
  • Eid Prayers

Please open your hearts to support the An-Noor Center and Islamic School.

The Messenger of Allah, Upon Whom Be Peace said: “The wealth of a man/women will not diminish from giving charity.

The Prophet ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: sadaqah jariyah (such as a well of clean water, masjid, hospital, Islamic charitable organization, etc.), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (the deceased)” [Muslim].
