An-Noor Sunday Islamic Schoool
Al-Noor Sunday Islamic School provides Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies education for ages 4-17. Our Arabic curriculum focuses on Quranic Arabic: reading and learning vocabulary from the Quran. We do not focus on conversational Arabic. Our Islamic Studies curriculum follows the weekend learning book series. The Quran class is combined with the Arabic class so that they are interchangeable with reading and memorization. We offer almost 3 hours of sessions per week to focus on the main areas that will help foster young minds to stay connected to their Lord, maintain a strong faith and become believers in service to those around them with the help of Allah. Our Pre-K class for those 4-5 years of age requires a screening test in order to be accepted into the class.
Our Helper’s Program is offered to our teens who love to be contributing members to our community, mainly those who are in High School (community hours also acceptable). Teens enrolled in this program help for the first hour and 40 minutes and then check-in with the head of the program. Following this, they attend their Faith Application Halaqa where they discuss relevant subjects and learn lessons from the Quran.
Al-Noor Sunday School always appreciates all the efforts from our volunteers and parents. If you would like to enroll your child, become a helper or have any questions please contact us!
