Ramadan is only a few months away and
it is best to start the spiritual preparation now.
For instance, our noble Messenger used to fast all of Rajab and Shaaban in preparation for the arrival of Ramadan. We can at least fast either on Monday or Thursday, preferably both of course. If it is difficult, then we should try to increase our Zikr and perhaps try to perform even two Rakats of Nawafil prayers. Refraining from sin and lowering our gaze is crucial on the spiritual path. Our Messenger taught us that an evil glance is a spear from Shaitan. The one who lowers his gaze, Allah will grant him the sweetness of His remembrance.
